Description

The APEX XR1620 is a fully automatic roll-to-roll DTF heat press system designed to improve efficiency, consistency, and ease of operation in high-volume garment production. Unlike traditional heat presses that require manual film placement and peeling, the XR1620 automates the entire transfer process — including film feeding, alignment, pressing, peeling, and automatic correction.

Equipped with a 15.7" x 19.7" heating platen, an automatic film correction system, and a left-right sliding garment loading base, the XR1620 allows operators to prepare garments quickly while the machine maintains continuous production. Its automatic correction function helps keep the film running in the proper position, ensuring more accurate transfer placement and reducing the risk of misalignment during production.

The roll-to-roll workflow provides stable and repeatable transfer positioning, helping reduce manual errors and improve overall efficiency. A powerful touchscreen PLC control system makes operation more convenient and intuitive, allowing users to manage settings and production functions more easily.

Capable of producing approximately 230–250 garments per hour, the XR1620 is an ideal solution for DTF print shops, garment factories, and businesses looking to scale transfer production with greater speed, consistency, and control.

Engineered to Never Be the Bottleneck

Every spec below exists for one reason: keeping garments moving.

Load while it presses. The line never waits.

Automated cycles keep operators loading and unloading while the machine presses. The rated hourly capacity in Specifications is sustained output, not a burst number.

Features

Built for Years of Daily Use

A reinforced structural design gives the press the strength and stability needed for long-term production use.

Automatic Slide-Out Lower Platen

The lower platen automatically slides out after pressing, making loading and unloading easier while helping reduce operator fatigue during repetitive production.

Automatic Film Alignment Correction

The automatic alignment correction system helps keep the transfer film properly positioned, improving placement accuracy and reducing misalignment during production.

PLC Touchscreen Control

The PLC touchscreen provides complete machine control with an intuitive interface, making daily operation, parameter adjustment, and job setup easier for operators.

Automatic Film Feeding and Take-Up System

The automatic film feeding and take-up system eliminates the need to pre-cut film sheets. Operators can transfer designs directly onto garments while the used film is automatically collected, helping reduce manual handling and improve production efficiency.

What power and air requirements do I need?

Check the Specifications table on this page for voltage, amps, watts, and CFM (if pneumatic). When in doubt, book a call. We will confirm shop electrical and compressor capacity before you order.

How is shipping handled for a machine this size?

Heat presses ship via commercial freight. Dimensions and shipping weight are listed in Specifications. You will receive tracking and delivery coordination for dock or residential delivery as applicable.

What if I am not sure this is the right machine?

Use the ROI calculator above, compare platen size and production capacity, or schedule a free consult. Our team will map volume, garment mix, and budget to VECTOR / TITAN / ATLAS / APEX lines.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing options are available for qualifying orders. See our financing page or ask during checkout or consult.

What support do I get after purchase?

US-based support can help with setup questions, parts, and troubleshooting. Keep your order number handy when you contact us.

What happens if it goes down mid-run?

US-based support helps you triage fast, and parts ship from the US. For production-critical lines, ask your specialist about spare-parts kits and response options before you buy.

My volume doesn’t justify automation yet. What should I do?

Then don’t buy it yet. A Titan or ATLAS press may fit today’s volume, and the upgrade path is real. See the lineup below or take the 2-minute finder quiz.

Can I see it run before I buy?

Yes. That’s the point. Book a live production demo at our Orange, CA showroom or a virtual walkthrough, and we’ll run your artwork and transfers on the machine.
